We use these for safer cutting of hard vegetables, such as potatoes, sweet potatoes and carrots.
They are safest if you use a knife to cut the vegetable in half (particularly if using with smaller children) then put, flat sides down to cut.
Always keep both hands on the woodon handle when cutting.
